Activities

With Armadale Castle in the South, Dunvegan Castle in the North and Eilean Donan Castle 10 miles away on the mainland, Cliffe House is ideally located for touring Skye.

 

Surrounded by sand, sea and world renound mountains, wherever you go on Skye you will find its scenery breathtaking. 

 

The Trotternish Peninsula contains two of Skye's most famous landmarks: the Old Man of Storr, an isolated rocky pinnacle, and the Quiraing, an area of dramatic and unusual rock formations, while the Cullin Hills are designated one of 40 national scenic areas in Scotland, and comprise 12 munros.

Local attractions include the fairy pools, boat trips, sea eagles, coral beach, seaplane, fishing, coasteering, ghillie guides, whale watching, fairy glen, kilt rock, brochs, ruined villages as well as distilleries, loch's beaches and a variety of sporting activities such as archery, cycling and kayaking. Day trips to the Outer Isles of Harris, Lewis and St Kilda are also possible.
